PUNCHCARD 0.8.1 — signed and notarized beta / 2026-09-11

Fixes the 0.8.0 issue where Ableton Live finds PUNCHCARD but refuses to load it.
The instrument now exposes a MIDI event input bus. Generation remains driven
by DAW transport; no MIDI notes are needed. Incoming notes are not sample
triggers and are not passed through to the generated MIDI output.
Sound and UI remain those of distributed 0.8.0. The separate development-only
DRUMIFY gain changes are not included.

Target: macOS 11+, Apple Silicon / Intel, 64-bit VST3.
No Windows binary, AU or Standalone in this ZIP. This is a beta build.
See VALIDATION.txt for the exact tested scope and remaining limitations.

INSTALL / UPDATE
1. Quit your DAW. Back up projects and the old plug-in outside scan folders.
2. Copy the entire PUNCHCARD.vst3 bundle to:
   ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/
3. In Live Settings > Plug-Ins, enable VST3 system folders and rescan.
If old information remains, hold Option while clicking Rescan.
In FL Studio, use Plugin Manager > Find installed plugins.
4. Open it on a MIDI track / as a generator in a NEW disposable project.
5. Load samples you have permission to use, generate a pattern and play the DAW.

PUNCHCARD shares its plug-in identity with the former Ecosystem Drums.
Do not keep both in scan paths. To roll back, quit the DAW, move the new bundle
out of scan paths and restore your backed-up version. Keep project copies.
No reference recordings, third-party sample libraries or personal projects included.

SECURITY NOTICE
Developer ID signed by hiroki koga and accepted by Apple's notarization service.
The Apple notarization ticket is attached to the plug-in. This is a security
packaging update of the same 0.8.1 build, not a new sound-engine release.
Notarization does not certify DAW compatibility. If macOS or your DAW still
blocks it, send the exact error, macOS/DAW versions and processor type to the
provider. Do not disable Gatekeeper or remove security attributes.

Contents: plug-in, installation notes, VALIDATION.txt, third-party licenses,
and SHA256SUMS.txt for file integrity verification.
